of Action: Georg-Wilhelm Postel (25 April 1896 in Zittau – 20 September 1953 in Shakhty, Russia) was a general in the German Wehrmacht during World War II.
Postel was taken prisoner of war on August 30, 1944 after the capitulation of Romania and died in custody in 1953. |
